# Browsing Styles and Playbooks

> Explore shows every Style with a real example ad, and the eight Playbooks. The quickest way to decide what to make.

> **Short answer:** **Explore** shows every Style with a real ad playing in each tile, and the eight Playbooks below them. Press **Use this style** to start an ad with it.
>
> * Not sure? Press **Let autopilot choose**.
> * The previews were made for other products. Read them for the feel.

**Explore** answers one question: *"What should your ad feel like?"*

It is a gallery of every visual **Style** with a real ad playing in each tile, and underneath, the eight **Playbooks**.

It is the fastest way to decide what to make, because you are looking at finished ads rather than reading descriptions of them.

## The Style gallery

Each tile is a real ad made with UGCFirst, labelled with the product it was made for. Hover a tile and it plays.

Under each one is **Use this style**, which takes you straight into making an ad with it.

Two tiles are marked **Coming soon** — those are not available yet.

## The Playbooks

Below the gallery, the eight Playbooks are listed with a one-line description each. They are the story shapes: Authentic Testimonial, Problem / Solution, Product Spotlight, Day in the Life, Rapid-Fire Listicle, Unboxing, Us vs Them Comparison and Pattern Interrupt.

[Which Playbook to choose](https://ugcfirst.com/help/creating/which-playbook-should-you-choose.md) goes through them properly, with the running order of each.

## If nothing jumps out

There is a **Let autopilot choose** option at the end of the gallery. Autopilot picks the Style your market responds to, which for a first ad is usually a better bet than a hunch.

## What the previews are and are not

The previews are real ads, not mock-ups. But they were made for those products, not yours — *"your ad adapts to your product, your market, your claims."*

So read them for the feel, not as a promise of what your ad will contain. A Cinematic ad for a fragrance and a Cinematic ad for a power tool look like relatives, not twins.
